> INCOMING LOAD DETECTED_

Absolute Highload is a small incremental game about trying to keep a server alive while the internet keeps asking for more.

Process requests, earn money, upgrade the infrastructure, automate the boring parts — and eventually watch the LOAD become a problem again.

This is the first rough version of the game. I'm putting it out early because I want to see what actually feels fun, what breaks, and where the game should go next.

So expect rough edges, weird balance and things that will definitely change. If you play it, I'd genuinely love to hear what worked for you and what didn't.

> CONTROLS_

Left Click — send a request to the Server
Hover a request — use the Operator / apply manual Compute
U — open or close Upgrades between runs
Esc — close menus / go back

> THE LOOP_

PROCESS → EARN → UPGRADE → REBOOT → REPEAT

Build more capacity.
The internet will find a way to use it.

I think I've failed multiple times because it spawned a window too close to the give up button and I accidentally pressed it. Make it so you have to hold it.

Oh, I thought the two-step confirmation (Shutdown → Confirm) would prevent this, but apparently it’s still too easy to hit by accident.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try changing it to a hold-to-shutdown action. That sounds much safer than the current approach.
